2. Assess Tier II Students Frequently — Students, who teachers have designated as Tier II in the RTI process, shall receive frequent assessment to determine whether or not interventions are effective. |

HDMS used AIMS-Web to conduct frequent assessments for Tier II students. Compass Learning was a powerful intervention that Tier II students utilized well. |
We are still learning how to choose effective interventions. Interventions for behavior are the most difficult. |
The RTI Team has discussed identifying specific behaviors and then adopting effective interventions for each. Failure to complete homework and classwork seem to be of paramount concern. |
